Description

The presentation focuses on applying GNSS geodesy and remote sensing to analyze earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions, with the goal of improving our understanding of coupling mechanisms between the lithosphere, hydrosphere, and upper atmosphere and also of enhancing early warning systems for tsunamis.

Additionally, the seminar will cover a CNRS project proposal that seeks to leverage GNSS data to integrate monitoring and detection across various Earth subsystems—not only for real-time hazard response but also to study long-term climate change trends.
