I will show the efforts to initiate biogeochemistry research in Chile since 2014 at the Environmental Chemistry Department in the Universidad Catolica de la Santisima Concepcion, focused in developing three lines of research: environmental and climate change, biogeochemistry in aquatic system and terrestrial biogeochemical imprint.
