Résumé :
The seminar will concentrate on two topics :
- Role of tropical cyclones along the monsoon trough in the 2011 Thai Flood and interannual variability.
- Development of a method to estimate potential impact of land-surface condition change on regional climate: For high-resolution regional climate models
Regional climate changes are partly induced by changes in land-surface condition (such as land-use and land cover). Many studies have investigated the impact of land-surface condition on regional climate over the specific regions using global and regional climate models. However, where or which seasons are regional climates sensitive to land-surface condition? Now, we challenge to develop a method to estimate potential impact of land-surface condition change on regional climates.
