Description
The purpose of this talk is, by taking « Gestalt » as a key word, to perform philosophical reflections on science in a concrete manner. As a concrete subject, I take the organization of cloud convection observed in a planetary scale of the atmosphere, especially focusing on a phenomena called the Madden-Julian oscillation. Philosophical reflections will be principally guided by Wittgenstein’s « Philosophische Untersuchungen ».
