Opportunity for in person or remote access to the SIRTA Atmospheric observatory

The 2nd call of the ATMO ACCESS project has been launched officially. It offers access to the most advanced atmospheric research facilities in Europe in support of the objectives of the H2020 Green Deal programme. It is a great opportunity to propose or participate in a research project at the SIRTA Atmospheric observatory!

To benefit from this opportunity, users only need to demonstrate how using the ATMO-ACCESS ground-based observation station, (SIRTA) or central atmospheric science laboratories (SIRTA Central laboratories CCRES and ACMCC) will enhance ongoing research, development, or innovation activities regarding the H2020 Green Deal. Transnational Access (TNA) is provided in two types:

  • in person (physical access), with users physically visiting the facility/installation and receiving the service “hands-on”
  • remotely (remote access), with resources and services offered without users physically visiting the facility/installation

The access is free of charge and includes the logistical, technological and scientific support and the specific training that is needed to use the services provided by the facility.

Timeline of the call

  • Publication date: May 6 2022
  • Deadline: July 6 2022

Eligibility and application process can be found on the ATMO-ACCESS website: https://www.atmo-access.eu/access-to-services
