We are seeking a Postdoctoral researcher in the area of physical/biogeochemical interactions in the ocean to work with Dr. Marina Lévy. The researcher will investigate the impact of density fronts on phytoplankton abundance and diversity in the Mediterranean Sea. The position is funded through the 4DMed project supported by the European Space Agency (ESA). The project will provide the dataset necessary for the analysis of the biophysical interactions.

The position is available for 18 months, with a possibility for renewal contingent upon funding. The salary is aligned with CNRS pay scales and is commensurate with experience; it includes health insurance and 9 weeks of paid leave per year.
