Welcome Day Sorbonne Université
Village of the Anthropocene: challenges and solutions
Thursday 15th september 2022, the village of the Anthropocene settles in Sorbonne Université, on the university campus Pierre et Marie Curie. It is organised by student associations to discuss the challenges of the ecological transition, and the Agora space will be a perfect occasion to share with new students your knowledge on climate science and possibilities of orientation.
This year and for the first time, the Welcome Day in Sorbonne University hosts the village of the Anthropocene. And IPSL is happy to be a part of it! Initiated by student associations, eager to spread knowledge of the challenges of the ecological transition, it will be a meeting point for various actors of the university (nutrition, programmes, research).
Among the line-up, an Agora providing room for expression, discussions and debates, activities and games, but also an exhibition, DIY workshop, bike-repair and vegetarian recipes kiosks, and a film screening for Bigger Than Us, with the company of the film director Flore Vasseur.
