“Climate Leadership Journey”, a program for tomorrow’s workers

Innovation in response to the climate challenge

Sorbonne University offers the “Climate Leadership Journey”, a program open to students from all disciplines, from L3 to PhD level, but also to young professionals wishing to actively invest in innovation in response to the climate challenge. Priority is given to students studying at Sorbonne University or in a partner institution of the EUR IPSL-Climate Graduate School. This project is part of the EIT Climate-KIC (Knowledge Innovation Community), a community working to accelerate the ecological transition towards a society more resilient to climate change.

Entirely in English, the « Climate Leadership Journey » is organised on an annual cycle between the end of April and December 2022, including a summer school from 17 to 30 July of the same year. Participants will be offered online conferences and more practical workshops. There will also be personal development sessions with professional coaches trained in climate issues and a project to develop. Each participant will be awarded a certificate for assiduous participation in the various events offered during the cycle.

A real opportunity, this training offers the possibility of obtaining an interesting profile for the participants, because they will be both knowledgeable about climate issues, but also competent in the fields of entrepreneurship, leadership and innovation. It is also the possibility of a european opening, as well as an access to the EIT Climate-KIC Alumni network allowing, for example, the development of a professional network in the future.

The deadline to apply to be part of this enriching experience is 10 April 2022.
