Note: The employee may subscribe an additional health cover of his/her choice (beyond the standard “Sécurité Sociale”), however, as an employee of the Civil service, he/she has to bear the cost.

From January 1, 2022, under certain conditions, CNRS employees will be entitled to reimbursement of up to €15 per month of part of their complementary social protection contributions to cover their healthcare costs.
