CROUS grants and assistance

Grants based on social criteria

Depending on your situation and the imposed criteria, you may be able to apply for a CROUS grant or financial aid by submitting a Dossier Social Etudiant (DSE) online. This file will also enable you to apply for university accommodation. To know more about your eligibility and all the steps involved in filling in your DSE, go to the website:  HERE

This grant could be accompanied by an "Aide au mérite de l'enseignement supérieur" (higher education merit grant) for students with a "très bien" mention in the Bac. To find out more, check:  HERE

Under certain conditions, you may also be eligible for specific assistance (annual allowance or one-time aid):

  • Specific annual allowance
  • This aid is granted to students with specific long-term difficulties that prevent them from receiving a higher education grant.
