ABSENCES, HEALTH, FAMILY
The entry of absences in AGATE (https://agate-tempo.cnrs.fr/) (leave, teleworking, exceptional leave, training, missions, etc.) is compulsory for all staff attached to the IPSL. Absences must be registered in AGATE after having received the agreement of the direct line manager. Exceptional leave of absence (« AEA ») must first be requested in writing from your manager. Once granted, the request must be sent to: rh@ipsl.fr, with copy to the line manager, together with the supporting documents (ex. moving, marriage certificate, etc.).
Absence on medical grounds- Any unavailability due to illness must, except in cases of “force majeure”, be duly justified and reported to the line manager within 24 hours. - Within 48 hours of the absence, the staff member must produce a sick note from his/her doctor and send it to the RH department (rh@ipsl.fr) by post. Otherwise, the absence will be deducted from the staff member's leave. - For CNRS staff, the sick leave must be declared in ARIANE: https://ariane.cnrs.fr For more information about the procedure in case of sick leave, see the CNRS guide:
Maternity leaveSend the original of the maternity leave notice issued by the doctor to the RH department (rh@ipsl.fr) who will forward it to the employer.
Sick child leaveNotify the absence to: rh@ipsl.fr with a copy to the line manager, and send a medical certificate stating "mother's or father's presence mandatory" to the RH department (rh@ipsl.fr) within 48 hours.
