Scientists and engineers from LATMOS-IPSL 1 have produced, together with ULB 2 , animations showing the impacts on air pollution during the COVID-19 pandemic, as seen by satellite throughout the world.
IASI CO and NH3 observations are available, together with TROPOMI NO2 results :
- China
- USA ( East coast - west coast )
- Europe
- France
- Italy
- Russia
- India
The IASI mission is a joint mission of Eumetsat and CNES. The TROPOMI mission is part of the EU Copernicus program and is a joint initiative between ESA and the Netherlands. Aeris and Copernicus Open Access Hub provide access to IASI and TROPOMI, respectively. This project has received funding from the IASI-FT advanced ERC grant, from CNES, and from Eumesta trough AC SAF.
