Résumé :
The profound and manifold climate impacts caused by the depletion of stratospheric ozone in the last decades of the 20th century will be reviewed, focusing on how ozone loss has affected the midlatitude storm track, the Hadley cell, clouds and precipitation, from global to regional scales. The projected recovery of stratospheric ozone in the coming half century will also be discussed: it will result in large cancellations of some of the impacts caused by increasing GHGs, notably those related to the atmospheric circulation.
